Our Mission

Our unified mission is to prayerfully do God's will through the teaching of God's word.  We seek to reach families in the community by witnessing and showing love to all races and nationalities.

Our Vision

We are Unified by the Spirit of God to carry out great works.

Our History

Nearly 160 years ago, in September 1855, a small plot of land was purchased from Henry Clark and his wife for the price of $1.00.  The sole purpose of this property was for the construction of a gray stone church called Clark's Chapel.  Later the church was recognized in the Washington Annual Conference of the Methodist Church as Clark Methodist Episcopal Church and since unification as Clark's United Methodist Church.

Over the years additional parcels of land have been secured to make accommodations for the cemetery, the pavilion, and the new worship facility that was erected in 2007.

From Our Pastor

Peace and blessings! I greet you in the precious name of Jesus.

I am truly blessed to be pastor of Clarks United Methodist Church. As Pastor, I have been given the awesome privilege of loving God's people and sharing God's plan by providing an atmosphere where God is held in the highest esteem.   My prayer is that all who come will hear God's call to salvation.

I also have the responsibility to provide those who are saved the opportunities to grow and to work for Jesus Christ.  Here at Clarks, the doors are open for people of all backgrounds, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey.  Our members are faithful Christians with loving hearts and arms wide open to receive YOU.

God is calling, offering gifts: rest for the weary, friendship for the lonely, forgiveness for those who feel guilty and ashamed. HE provides purpose for those who want to make a difference.  It's an exciting time at Clarks.  Come, see God do a new thing in YOUR life!
